According to the Albanian Government Ministry of the Energy in 2023 all Hydropower plants are fully operating at the highest peak ever do to substantial rainfall in the region. Albania is now producing 100% of all energy needed in the country and exporting substantial green energy to neighboring countries as well.

Albania has incredible potential in solar energy. The Mediterranean country has one of the best numbers of the sunny days in the world.

Albanian land in Kosovo possesses around 50 billion tons of lignite in reserves, one of the world’s largest l reserves. Kosovo, has one of the world’s largest reserves for lead, zinc, and silver. Trepça Mining was the leader in Europe in the mining of lead, zinc, silver and gold .
Over 90 percent of Albania and Kosovo natural resources remain untapped. A substantial mineral wealth that could transform its economic prospects, a great potential for future economic development in Albania, Kosovo and Europe.
Albania is home to the largest onshore oil field in Europe, also huge untapped reserves of oil and natural gas in offshore fields on Adriatic and Ionian Seas. Albania has the largest magnesium ore reserves in the world with over 100 billion tons, finest quality proven reserves.
Albania is home to the largest chrome ore reserves in Europe with the finest quality in the world.
